Rubina Rumler


Since 2020 Rubina Rumler is a Ph.D. student and research associate at the Institute of Food Technology, University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna. Previously, Rubina received her bachelor's and master's degrees in nutritional sciences (University of Vienna). Within her Ph.D. research she focuses on the application of alternative and climate smart cereals (sorghum, millet, amaranth and buckwheat) in wheat bakery products. So far, Rubina published three first author publications. The goal of her research is to increase knowledge of alternative and climate smart cereals. Climate smart cereals may become important for the Western diet due to the effects of the climate change.
