Claudia Sardella


Claudia Sardella is at the first year of a three-years, full-time international PhD program in Food, Health and Longevity, born from the partnership of two Excellence Departments, University of Piemonte Orientale and University of Turin, Italy. She is a master’s degree graduate in Food Science and Technology with 3 years of relevant experience in a food company of the bakery sector.

Her research topic is about innovation in the cereal supply chain for the development of healthy and sustainable foods. The aim of the PhD program is to develop a high value-added supply chain for enhancing the nutritional quality of innovative cereal varieties rich in bioactive compounds and obtaining baked goods with marked health benefits.
