Awards


The official journal of ICC, The Journal of Cereal Science will be sponsoring 2 ICC BEST POSTER AWARDS for innovative or exceptional work in cereral science and technology research. The awardees will be selected from the poster submissions. This support will be in the form of two awards of EUR 500 each for student or postdoctoral researchers and is aiming at encouraging scientific work in the discipline of cereal science and technology research which can be transferred into application.


An independent jury including industry representatives will examine posters presented during the conference and will select the awardees.


NOTE: The Best Poster Award will be awarded only to physically present candidates.




JCS Special Issue - Submit your paper!


Journal of Cereal Science is inviting all oral and poster presenters at the ICC22 to submit papers on their presented work to the Special Issue of the journal. 


Submissions for this Special Issue should fit the journal’s aim and scope, and can be in the form of original research papers, critical reviews, and short communications. All submitted papers will be subjected to the same screening and peer-review process as regularly submitted papers. 


The Journal's Guide for Authors on how to prepare a paper is available at Guide for authors - Journal of Cereal Science - ISSN 0733-5210 (elsevier.com). Papers must be submitted electronically via the Editorial Manager System (EM) site for the Journal at https://www.editorialmanager.com/YJCRS/default.aspx.


The submission portal will open on July 5th 2022 and will close on December 1st, 2022. After this date, the portal will be closed.


To ensure that all manuscripts are correctly identified for inclusion into the special issue, it is important to select "VSI: ICC 22" when you reach the "Article Type" step in the submission process. 


There will be no cost for authors when the paper is published in subscription model and not as open access.

Best Paper Award

plants by MDPI will be sponsoring 1 ICC BEST PAPER AWARD. The awardee will be selected from the oral submissions. This support will be in the form of one award of EUR 450.-- and is aiming at encouraging scientific work in the discipline of cereal science and technology research which can be transferred into application.


An independent jury will examine papers presented during the conference and will select the awardee.
