Kevin Miller is a Principal Scientist in the Global Scientific and Regulatory Affairs team of General Mills’ Bell Institute of Health and Nutrition. In his role, Kevin is responsible for ensuring that General Mills' products comply with external and internal nutrition regulations and policies. Kevin also provides guidance to key company stakeholders with a focus on nutrition topics including whole grain, carbohydrates, fiber, protein, and fortification. Previously, Kevin worked as a scientist in healthcare nutrition studying nutrition interventions for improved health outcomes. In both current and former roles, Kevin has maintained his passion for building healthy dietary lifestyles that improve overall public health. Kevin completed his Bachelors in animal science, Masters in nutritional physiology studying endocrine function and growth in animals, and his Ph.D. from North Dakota in collaboration with the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) - Agricultural Research Service studying bioavailability and interactions between trace minerals.
