Associate Professor Sara Grafenauer is the Program Lead for Nutrition and Dietetics at the University of NSW, in Sydney. Through her previous role at the Grains & Legumes Nutrition Council, she led several research projects assessing the economic value of whole grain, examinations of the Health Star Rating system and numerous assessments of the grain and legume food supply. She continues research in this area with the Council and the Whole Grain Initiative. She is a Fellow of Dietitians Australia, a qualified Accredited Practising Dietitian and author. Her PhD Research focused on dietary patterns and dietary change in weight loss through the University of Wollongong. She is a nutrition marketing specialist with experience in FMCG and consulting.
